Built for side entry connections, the Speedfit Flexible Hose Push Fit x Elbow Pattern has a Push Fit end for 15mm pipe and an angled 1/2 inch nut at the other end. It is 300mm long.
Why use a Speedfit flexible hose Push Fit x elbow pattern
The elbow nut lets the hose come off a side entry connection at a right angle. That makes it handy on side entry toilet cisterns, side fed taps and other threads that face sideways. A straight connector would need a tight bend right at the nut, which strains the hose. With the elbow, the hose drops away cleanly instead.

Measure from the pipe to the connection before buying, so 300mm gives a gentle run without stretching.
Cut the 15mm pipe square and remove any burr. Pencil the depth on the pipe and push until the fitting meets your line. Fit a pipe insert first on plastic pipe. Thread the elbow nut onto the cistern or tap by hand, then snug it with a spanner. Turn the water on and check both ends.

Elbow pattern flexi: does it suit a side entry cistern?
Yes, that is the classic use. The angled nut turns the corner at the inlet so the hose does not kink.
Does 300mm reach from the floor to a cistern inlet?
Measure before ordering. The hose should reach the inlet with some slack left over, never pulled tight.
Is there a washer in the elbow nut?
The nut seals onto the thread with a washer, so check it is seated before tightening, and keep PTFE off.
