Each end of the Speedfit Flexible Hose Push-Fit x Push-Fit White carries a Speedfit Push Fit connector, with a white hose in between. It is 15mm x 15mm, in 300mm or 500mm.

Use it to link two 15mm pipes where a straight run will not work. It gets round obstacles and bridges pipes that are out of line. In white, it looks neater on show, for example under a basin or in a utility room where the pipework is visible.

Measure the gap and choose the length that leaves a gentle curve.

Cut each pipe square and remove the burr. Mark the insertion depth, then push each end of the hose fully home. Put an insert in plastic pipe first. Pull back on each joint to check the grip. Turn the water on and look for weeps before you finish.

Common Questions

Do I need pipe inserts with this hose?

On plastic pipe, yes: put an insert in each pipe end before you push the hose on, so the pipe cannot squash inside the collet. Copper pipe needs no insert, just a clean, square, deburred end.

Can the hose be taken off again later?

It can. Turn the water off, push the collet back against the fitting and pull the pipe out. Look at the pipe end for scratches before refitting, and trim it back if it is marked.

Should I pick the 300mm or the 500mm length?

Measure the gap between the two pipe ends and add enough for a gentle sweep. The hose should never be stretched tight or bent so hard that it kinks, so if the 300mm only just reaches, take the 500mm.
