Speedfit Flexible Hose Push Fit x Push Fit 15mm to 22mm

With Push Fit sockets at both ends, this Speedfit flexible hose joins two pipe ends with a flexible link. It comes in 15mm and 22mm.

Speedfit flexible hose Push Fit both ends: sizes

• 15mm x 15mm: 300mm, 500mm or 1000mm
• 22mm x 22mm: 300mm or 500mm
• Push Fit socket on each end

It works like a bendy piece of pipe. Use it to bridge two pipes that do not line up, to get round an obstacle, or to make a connection in a space too tight for a bender. Because there are no threads, there is nothing to seal with tape or paste. The 22mm sizes keep flow up on bath feeds and larger supplies.

Measure the gap and pick a length that leaves a gentle curve. Too tight a bend strains the hose.

Cut both pipe ends square and deburr them. Mark the insertion depth on each. Push each end of the hose fully onto its pipe, to the mark. If either pipe is plastic, fit an insert first. Tug each joint to check it has gripped. Then turn the water on and check for leaks.

Yes, each end takes either copper or plastic of its size. Plastic needs its insert first.

How tight can the hose bend?

Keep to a gentle curve. A sharp bend strains the hose and can kink it, so choose a longer hose rather than forcing a short one.

Is there anything to seal on it?

No threads, so no tape or paste. The seal is made inside each Push Fit end.
