With an End Feed Both Ends Reduced Tee, the two run ends are smaller than the branch. So a single larger pipe can feed two smaller pipes going in opposite directions, for example a 22mm feed splitting into two 15mm runs.
Reading End Feed Both Ends Reduced Tee sizes
The sizes are given run end, run end, branch. In 15mm x 15mm x 22mm, both ends of the run take 15mm and the branch takes 22mm. Small sizes, such as 10mm x 10mm x 15mm, turn up on microbore heating. The larger ones, up to 42mm x 42mm x 54mm, suit plant room headers and commercial work.
Solder is fed in by hand. Clean and flux all three pipe ends and sockets, assemble, then heat the tee evenly and run solder round each joint. Do the joints in one heat where you can, so a finished joint does not get remelted.
