Adjustable dual flush valve with chrome on plastic button and internal overflow, for push button cisterns. Collect from 555 South Street, Glasgow.
The Adjustable Flush Valve is a dual flush drop valve for push button toilet cisterns. It comes with a chrome on plastic dual flush button. This cistern flush valve suits anyone curing a toilet that keeps running into the pan, or swapping an old valve for one that uses less water.
The flush volume can be adjusted, so you can set the short and full flush to suit the pan instead of emptying the whole cistern each time. It has an internal overflow, so if the fill valve sticks the water goes into the pan, not out through the wall. Before buying, measure the cistern outlet and check the lid has a hole in the right place for the button.
We keep flush valves and other cistern parts on the shelf in Glasgow. Bring the old valve in and we will check it against this one.

Common Questions
How do I adjust a dual flush valve? This valve has adjustable flush volumes, so you can set the short and full flush separately. Change one setting a little at a time and test the flush after each tweak.
What does a toilet flush valve do? It lifts when you press the button to let water from the cistern into the pan, then drops back to seal the outlet until the next flush.
Why does my toilet keep running into the pan? Usually it’s a worn or dirty seal on the flush valve, or the fill valve is overfilling into the overflow. Check both before you replace anything.
How do I replace a cistern flush valve? Turn off the water, flush the cistern and sponge out what’s left. Take out the old valve, fit the new one in the outlet, set the volumes, then turn the water back on and test.
What should I check before buying? Measure the cistern outlet, and make sure the lid has a hole in the right place for the push button.
Does it have an overflow? Yes, it has an internal overflow, so if the fill valve sticks the extra water goes into the pan rather than out through the wall. Bring your old valve in and we’ll compare it for you.
