The internal flush cone clear is a see-through cone seal for the inside of a WC pan inlet, connecting the flush pipe from a high or low level cistern. Plumb Parts in Glasgow can sort you out.
Our internal flush cone clear version seals the flush pipe into a toilet pan by fitting inside the pan’s inlet horn. Being clear, it is less noticeable on a white pan than a black cone.
Why pick the internal flush cone clear
It does the same job as the black one, but some customers prefer the look where the joint is on show. It is a small detail, yet on a newly decorated bathroom it can make the difference.
- Clear flush cone
- Fits inside the pan inlet
- Seals the joint to the flush pipe
- For high and low level cisterns
Take out the old cone and clean the inlet. Push the clear cone in evenly, then slide the flush pipe into it. A drop of washing up liquid helps. Make sure the flush pipe is square, because a pipe that pulls to one side will open up a gap.
After fitting, flush several times and wipe round with tissue to check for drips. If it still seeps, check the pipe end for cracks or burrs.
The black and external cones sit with the rest of our cistern fittings.

Common Questions
Does my pan take an internal cone or an external one?
If the inlet horn is wide enough for the cone to sit inside it with the flush pipe in the middle, internal is right. If the pipe has to clamp round the outside of the horn, pick the external cone.
Can I keep my old flush pipe?
Yes, if its end is round and free of cracks or burrs. A damaged end will not seal even in a new cone, so trim it or replace it.
Do I need sealant with a flush cone?
No, the cone seals by gripping both the pipe and the pan. A little washing up liquid makes fitting easier and dries off.
