Most 108mm work these days is done with large bore Press Fit fittings, which saves a hot works permit and a lot of time. Brazed or End Feed joints are still used, but you’ll need serious heat and a second pair of hands. Make sure the press tool and jaws you have are rated for this size before you buy fittings. Cut square with a large tube cutter or a fine-toothed saw and a guide, then file, deburr and clean back to bright copper. Support it on proper heavy duty brackets close together, because a full 108mm run weighs a fair bit.
