The Myson Motorised Valve opens and shuts a heating or hot water circuit when the programmer or thermostat calls for it. We sell it as 2 Port x 22mm, 2 Port x 28mm and 3 Port x 22mm. The 22mm 2 port is the usual house valve, and the 28mm suits bigger pipework.
Myson fit a strong motor with a manual override and spring return, neon lights that show where the valve is, and gold plated switch contacts that suit low voltage boiler switching. The brass body takes compression rings, so it goes straight onto copper pipe.
The valve runs on mains voltage. Isolate the supply and wire it to the system diagram, or have a competent heating engineer do it.

Common Questions
Do I need a 2 port or a 3 port valve?
Go by the system you have. Separate valves on the heating and hot water legs is an S plan, so 2 port. One valve where the flow splits is a Y plan, so 3 port mid position.
Can I just change the head?
Often, yes. If the brass body is sound and not passing, a new powerhead is the quicker job and the system does not need drained down.
