Compression DZR Reducing Tees 22mm

Each one of the Compression DZR Reducing Tees takes a branch off a run where the pipe sizes do not all match, such as a 15mm leg off a 22mm main. Its DZR brass body is far less prone to dezincification than a standard brass fitting.

Where reducing tees are used

Mixed sizes are everywhere in domestic work. A 22mm heating flow feeding 15mm radiator tails, a 22mm cold main splitting to 15mm for a basin, or a 15mm run picking up a 22mm supply. A proper reducing tee does that in one fitting, with no reducing sets or adaptors, so there are fewer joints and less clutter under the floor.

Fitting tips from the Glasgow counter

Work out flow direction before you start, especially on the 22 x 15 x 15 pattern where only one end is the larger size. Cut pipe square, deburr, and push fully home. Use two spanners to stop the tee twisting as you tighten each nut.
