Double Panel Double Convector 750mm High Radiator

Tallest of these Type 22 models, the Double Panel Double Convector 750mm High Radiator pairs two panels with two rows of fins. That gives a lot of output from a fairly short length, which is useful when wall space is tight.

Think big rooms in tenement flats, high-ceilinged hallways and kitchens with only a narrow wall free. Because it is tall, you can go shorter in length and still get the heat. It also suits a room with no window wall, where the radiator has to sit on an inside wall instead.

• Height: 750mm
• Lengths: 400mm to 1200mm in 100mm steps, then 1400mm and 1600mm
• Type 22, also called K2
• Brackets, top grille, side covers, blanking plug and vent supplied

Fitting the double panel double convector 750mm high radiator

Check the top of the radiator will clear sills, shelves and switches before you drill. A tall, deep radiator puts real load on the brackets, so fix into masonry or studs, not bare plasterboard. Set the tails to suit, fit valves, fill and vent from the top. Then run the heating and check the unions once the radiator is hot. Matching valves and other heights are listed in our radiators and accessories section.
