Low and slim, Single Panel Single Convector Radiators 300mm High sit at the bottom of the height range. Each one is a Type 11, also called K1: a single steel panel with one set of convector fins on the back.
Because they are only 300mm tall and fairly shallow, they suit spots where nothing else fits. Think low windows, under a breakfast bar, or along a hall where a deeper radiator would catch people’s legs. The catch is output. A single panel at this height gives modest heat, so in a bigger room you will need a long one or a deeper type.
- Height: 300mm
- Lengths: 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1800, 2000 and 2200mm
- Type 11 (K1): one panel, one convector
- Brackets, grille, side panels, plugs and an air vent are included
Fitting single panel single convector radiators 300mm high
Low radiators put the valves near floor level, which leaves little space to work; dry-fit the valves first. On long lengths, set the brackets dead level or air will collect at one end. Fit a pair of radiator valves, fill, and vent from the top corner. Then go back and check every joint once the heating has run. Valves and other heights are listed in the radiators and accessories category.

Common Questions
Will a 300mm single panel heat a room on its own?
In a small, well insulated room it can, if you pick a long enough length. In a bigger or colder room, a 300mm Type 11 struggles, so look at a double panel of the same height.
What is the difference between K1 and K2?
K1 has one panel with one set of fins behind it. K2 has two panels and two sets of fins, so it gives a lot more heat but stands further off the wall.
Can a low radiator sit under a breakfast bar?
Yes, that is a common spot for a 300mm height. Leave a gap above the top grille so the warm air can rise out.
