End Feed Long Tail Fitting Reducer 15mm

For dropping a 15mm fitting down to microbore, the End Feed Long Tail Fitting Reducer has a longer spigot than the standard reducer. The spigot pushes into a 15mm socket, and the small end takes 8mm or 10mm pipe.

Why choose the End Feed Long Tail Fitting Reducer

The longer tail gives more room between the two joints. So you can solder one without melting the other, and it is easier to get a flame on it in a tight spot, for example at a radiator valve or a manifold. It can also go straight into a tee, so you save a short piece of 15mm pipe.

Clean and flux the tail and the 15mm socket it goes into, and the microbore pipe end. Heat each joint and feed in solder wire. Take care with small bore pipe, because it heats fast and can burn through if the flame stays too long.
