The End Feed Straight Wallplate Adaptor joins 15mm copper pipe to a 1/2″ female thread on a plate you screw to the wall. It suits plumbers and DIYers fitting a firm connection for a tap or shower.
Where it goes
The pipe comes in from behind, straight into the back of the fitting, and the tap or shower part screws into the front. The flanged plate holds it solid, so the joint does not move when a tap is turned or a hose is pulled. You see them on outside taps, washing machine valves and bar mixers.

- 15mm x 1/2″ 15mm copper end feed socket with a 1/2″ female thread.
Fitting tips
Clean and flux the pipe and socket, then heat the fitting and feed solder in by hand until a ring shows. Solder before fixing it to the wall, or keep the flame off the wall. Fix the plate with screws into timber or plugged masonry, then seal the tap thread with PTFE tape.

Common Questions
What is the difference from a wallplate elbow?
An elbow brings the pipe in from the side along the wall. This straight version takes the pipe straight through from behind.
Does it come with solder?
No, end feed means no solder inside. You add lead free solder wire by hand.
Will an outside tap screw straight in?
Yes, a standard 1/2″ tap screws into the female thread. Wrap the tap thread with PTFE tape first.
