It’s 400mm by 1000mm, so it fits a slim space but still has room for a bath towel to hang. Like any heated towel rail on the heating circuit, it takes two radiator valves, not supplied. Fitting tips

Plan the valve positions first so the tails meet the rail inlets without strain. Use solid fixings or studs for the brackets and set it level. Once it’s filled, bleed it, run the heating and check every joint for drips. If the rail stays cold at the top, there’s still air in it, so bleed it again.

A standard pair of radiator valves sized to your pipework. Pick angled or straight to suit where the pipes come from, the floor or the wall.

Why is the top of my towel rail cold?

That is usually trapped air. Let the rail cool, open the top vent until water appears, and top up a sealed system to its normal pressure afterwards.

Will a 400mm x 1000mm rail heat a small bathroom?

It will warm towels and take the chill off, but chrome gives off less heat than a white rail of the same size. In a cold room, a second heat source may be needed.
