Common Questions
Part 1 or Part 2 float valve?
Part 1 is the traditional brass piston valve. Part 2 is the diaphragm type, quieter and less prone to scale. Match what you have or what suits the cistern.
High pressure or low pressure?
High pressure for a mains fed cistern, low pressure for one fed from a tank in the loft. The wrong one fills too slowly or too fast.
What size float do I need?
Pick the size that fits the cistern without touching the sides. Bigger tanks take bigger floats.
