FloPlast Equal Tee – WS24 50mm

Fifty mil waste is what you run where several appliances or sinks feed one pipe, and the FloPlast Equal Tee WS24 is the tee for it. All three sockets take 50mm ABS pipe.

Where the FloPlast Equal Tee WS24 shows up

You will find it in utility rooms, commercial kitchens and washrooms. Solvent welding gives a fixed, permanent joint, which is reassuring on long runs inside a floor void or behind boxing where you will not get back to it easily.

A smaller branch pipe joins through an ABS reducer glued into the side socket. Dry fit the lot, mark it, and glue one joint at a time. Clean, cement both surfaces, push home and hold.

Clip the run either side of the tee, because a full 50mm pipe carries a fair weight. Keep every leg falling the right way. On a busy kitchen waste, add an access point close by so grease blockages can be cleared.

Can I bring a smaller pipe into the side of the WS24?

Yes. Glue an ABS reducer into the branch socket to take the smaller pipe.

Where should rodding access go near a 50mm tee?

Close by, ideally in a straight line from the tee. Grease and food blockages can then be cleared quickly.

Is the WS24 permanent once glued?

Yes. Solvent joints cannot be taken apart, which is why a dry run first is worth the few minutes.
