This is for going in the ground, from the foot of a soil stack or a gully out to a chamber or the main drain. It belongs to FloPlast’s PVC-U underground drainage system and links up with their bends, junctions, gullies and access chambers.

The socket is formed on the pipe itself, so each length pushes straight into the next one with no separate coupler on a straight run.

Lay it on a proper granular bed with a steady fall, and surround it before backfilling so stones don’t sit against the pipe. When you cut it, cut square and chamfer the end. Lubricate the spigot with silicone before you push it into the next socket. Underground pipe isn’t the same as above-ground soil pipe, so use the right fittings for each.
