How the FloPlast Ring Seal 92.5 Deg Corner Branch SP232 helps

Picture a bathroom where the WC sits on one wall and a second soil connection comes from the next wall round. A standard double branch has its inlets opposite each other, which does not help there. The corner branch does.

Work out which inlet faces which wall before fixing. Set the height so both connections fall into the stack. Chamfer each pipe end, use silicone lubricant and push the joints home.

Clip the stack firmly close to the branch, since two connections add load from two directions.

Close off an unused inlet with a socket plug if the second connection comes later.

Common Questions

When is a corner branch needed?

When two soil connections arrive from walls at right angles, for example a WC on one wall and another soil pipe from the next. A double branch will not help there, as its inlets face opposite ways.

What if the second SP232 inlet is not needed yet?

Push a 110mm socket plug into it until the connection is made. That keeps smells and rubble out of the stack.

Do both inlets need a fall?

Yes. Set the branch height so each pipe runs downhill into the stack.
