For rodding where space is short, the FloPlast Ring Seal Screwed Access Cap SP292 gives you a screw-off access point in a spare 110mm Ring Seal socket or at the end of a soil run.
Where the FloPlast Ring Seal Screwed Access Cap SP292 is used
It pushes into the socket of a branch, bend or other fitting. Screw the cap off and you have a clear way into the pipe for rodding, testing or a camera survey. It is a simple way to provide access where a full access pipe will not fit.
Wipe silicone on the spigot and press the cap home until it seats. Make sure the cap thread is clean and the seal sits flat before you screw it on.
Place it where rods can be pushed in straight. Leave access through any boxing.
Tell the customer where it is, so they know where to start if the pipe blocks. Do not overtighten the cap; hand tight is usually enough for a good seal.
