FloPlast Rubber Boss Adapter – SP11 40mm

Most bath, shower and sink wastes are 40mm, and the FloPlast Rubber Boss Adapter SP11 connects them to a soil stack boss with a simple Push-Fit joint. It is made of black rubber.

Why fit the FloPlast Rubber Boss Adapter SP11

No solvent and no waiting: push the adaptor into the boss, push the waste into the adaptor, and the joint is made. It works with Push-Fit or solvent waste pipe, and it can come apart later if the bathroom is refitted.

Chamfer the end of the waste pipe so it slides in without tearing the rubber. A little silicone lubricant helps. Push the pipe in fully.

Never glue into the rubber. Clip the waste near the boss so it is not hanging on the adaptor.

Keep a steady fall into the stack, and fit the trap where it can be reached for cleaning. If the boss is behind a bath panel, leave the panel removable so the joint can be checked.
