FloPlast Solvent Soil Double Socket 92.5° Bend – SS561 110mm

Near-square turns on glued soil runs use the FloPlast Solvent Soil Double Socket 92.5° Bend SS561, which turns a 110mm solvent soil pipe through just over a right angle. Both ends are solvent sockets.

Where the FloPlast Solvent Soil Double Socket 92.5° Bend SS561 goes

The extra few degrees over 90 give a horizontal run a slight fall where it leaves a vertical drop. It is common at stack bases, beneath floors and wherever a WC run swings round a corner.

Use plain-ended pipe on both sides. Dry fit, check the fall goes the right way, and mark the joints. Then apply solvent cement to each pair of surfaces, push home and hold.

At the foot of a stack this bend takes a lot of weight, so support it with a bracket or proper bedding.

Put an access point near the bend, as blockages tend to collect at changes of direction. A quick water test before backfilling or boxing in saves a lot of grief.
