FloPlast Solvent Soil Vent Terminal – SS302 110mm

On a glued stack, the FloPlast Solvent Soil Vent Terminal SS302 goes on the open end of the 110mm vent pipe. It keeps birds and debris out while air moves freely.

Fitting the FloPlast Solvent Soil Vent Terminal SS302

Most houses with a soil stack have the vent rising above the eaves or through the roof. This is the terminal for the solvent soil system, so it is glued on and stays put once fitted.

Cut the pipe square, clean it and apply solvent cement to both surfaces. Push the terminal on and hold it straight while it grabs.

Check the vent height and distance from windows against the building regulations before you finish.

Where the pipe passes through a roof, fit the weathering slate and collar before the terminal. Once glued, the terminal cannot easily come off, so make sure everything below is finished first. A terminal that is level and square looks far better from the street.
