Common Questions
Do I Need to Drain the Cistern First?
Yes. Turn off the isolating valve on the supply, flush to empty the cistern and soak up what is left with a sponge before you take anything apart.
How Do I Know Which Part I Need?
Bring the old part, or a photo of it and the cistern, to our counter on South Street and we will match it for you.
Is It Worth Repairing an Old Cistern?
Usually, yes. Changing the fill valve, flush valve or seals costs far less than a new cistern, and the cistern itself rarely wears out.
