The Geberit Mapress Copper Female Thread Elbow Adaptor 90 Deg turns 90 degrees from copper tube to a female (Rp) thread. Use it at wall plates, appliances and threaded valves where the run comes in at a right angle. Mapress Copper water fittings come with a black EPDM seal ring already fitted and a white pressing indicator that comes off when the joint is done. They press on to copper tube to EN 1057 with an M contour jaw, with no flame and no hot works permit. Up to 54mm a joint that has not been pressed is made to leak under test, so a missed one shows up before handover.

What press jaws do I need? Mapress uses an M contour, so you need M jaws in the size of the tube. Check your press tool maker’s list before you start.
