The Geberit Mapress Copper Reduced Tee (Gas) takes a branch off a copper run where the branch or one run end is a different size from the main run. Sizes read run, run, branch, so 28mm x 28mm x 22mm is a 28mm run with a 22mm branch. We sell it in 22mm x 15mm x 15mm and 22mm x 15mm x 22mm, all genuine Geberit stock.
Mapress Copper gas fittings have a yellow HNBR seal ring and yellow marking, so they are easy to tell from the water range on site. They are made for natural gas and LPG on copper tube to EN 1057. Like the water range, a joint that has not been pressed leaks under test, so a missed one shows up before the supply is turned on. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
