The Geberit Mapress Copper Slip Coupling (Gas) is a press coupling with no tube stop inside, so it slides fully along the tube. That makes it the one to use for repairs: cut out the damaged piece, slide the coupling over, line it up across the gap and press both ends. We sell it in 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm and 54mm, all genuine Geberit stock.
Mapress Copper gas fittings have a yellow HNBR seal ring and yellow marking, so they are easy to tell from the water range on site. They are made for natural gas and LPG on copper tube to EN 1057. Like the water range, a joint that has not been pressed leaks under test, so a missed one shows up before the supply is turned on. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
