The Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel 60 Degree Bend with Plain Ends is a 60 degree stainless tube bend with plain spigot ends on both sides for the Mapress Stainless Steel press fit system. We list it in 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm for plumbers, gas engineers and mechanical contractors in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
Both ends go into the press sockets of other fittings, just like tube, so it gives a smooth, full bore bend. It is made of 316 stainless steel (CrNiMo 1.4401) with a black CIIR sealing ring and a pressing indicator that shows any joint left unpressed. Use it for drinking water (hot and cold), heating water and cooling water.
Mark the insertion depth on the tube before you push it in, so you know it is fully home, then press with Geberit Mapress press jaws of the right size.

Does this bend have press sockets? No. Both ends are plain, the same outside size as the tube. Push each end into the socket of a fitting or a slip coupling and press that fitting.
