Hep2O Branch Reduced Spigot Tee 15mm to 22mm

With the Hep2O Branch Reduced Spigot Tee, the branch comes off without a short piece of pipe. Both run ends are Push Fit sockets for the pipe. The branch is a plain spigot, one size down and the same outside size as pipe, so it plugs directly into a socket on the next Hep2O part.

Using a Hep2O Branch Reduced Spigot Tee

Spigot tees let you build compact assemblies without short bits of pipe, for example around a manifold, under a boiler or in a tight boxing. The 15mm x 15mm x 10mm size takes a microbore radiator branch off a 15mm run. The 22mm x 22mm x 15mm size takes a 15mm feed off a 22mm main.

Sleeve the run pipes and push them into the sockets until they lock. Then seat the spigot branch fully in its mating socket and give it a pull as well. If you need pipe on the branch, fit a socket fitting such as a coupler first, because a spigot does not grip pipe on its own.

Common Questions

What plugs into the spigot branch?

Any Hep2O socket of the branch size, such as an elbow, valve or stop end. The spigot goes in like pipe, with no insert needed.

Do I mark the spigot like pipe?

Yes. A mark at the socket depth shows the spigot is fully home in the next fitting.

Can I connect copper to the spigot?

No. A spigot only goes into a socket. To join copper, use a socket fitting on the copper and a spigot or pipe on the Hep2O side.
