Hep2O Blanking Pegs 10mm to 22mm

Hep2O Blanking Pegs are plugs that push into an unused Push Fit socket and seal it. They are the quick way to close off a tee outlet or a manifold port that is not needed yet, or to cap a fitting while you pressure test the rest of the system.

When to use Hep2O Blanking Pegs

On first fix, you often run pipework ready for a bathroom or kitchen that is not going in until later. A peg in each open socket lets you fill and test the system now. They are also useful on a manifold with more ports than you need. When the time comes, you take the peg out and push in the pipe.

Push the peg in fully, just as you would a pipe, and give it a pull to make sure it is locked. Use a Hepkey or the demounting tool to release it later. Do not use a peg as a permanent cap inside a wall or floor where it cannot be reached.

Common Questions

Do blanking pegs hold full test pressure?

They are made to seal an open socket during a pressure test. Check the test pressure against the system rating and watch the pegs during the test.

Are blanking pegs reusable?

Yes. Release them with a HepKey like a pipe, and keep them for the next first fix.

Can a blanking peg stay in for good?

For a permanent end, fit a Hep2O stop end on a short piece of pipe instead, as pegs are meant for temporary use.
