Under a sink there is rarely room for a spanner, and the Hep2O Hand Titan Tap Connector is made to be done up by hand. It has a Hep2O connection for the pipe and a large-grip nut that screws onto the tap tail.
Fitting the Hep2O Hand Titan Tap Connector
Pick the size to suit the job. 15mm x 1/2″ suits basin and kitchen taps. 15mm x 3/4″ takes 15mm pipe to a 3/4″ tail, and 22mm x 3/4″ keeps the bore up for a bath. Check the washer is seated in the nut, then screw it onto the tail and tighten firmly by hand. Do not reach for grips, because overtightening can crack the nut or damage the tap.
For the pipe, fit a support sleeve and push it into the connector until it locks. Check for drips once the water is back on, and give the nut a little more by hand if needed.

Do I need a spanner for a Hand Titan connector?
No. The big nut is made to go up by hand. Finish firm, but stop before you strain the tap or the nut.
Is the 22mm Hand Titan for baths?
Yes. 22mm x 3/4″ keeps the full bore to a bath tap for a quicker fill.
What if the Hand Titan nut leaks?
Undo it, check the washer is flat and centred, then refit. A damaged or missing washer is the usual cause.
