The Hep2O Bent Service Valve combines an isolating valve and a bent tap connector in one part. The 15mm Push Fit end takes the supply pipe, and the 1/2″ nut screws onto the tap tail, so there is one fewer joint in a tight space under a basin or sink.
Why fit a Hep2O Bent Service Valve
With a service valve at each tap, you can change a cartridge or a tap without turning off the whole house. The bend takes the pipe up to the tap at a neat angle, so you do not need a separate elbow.
To fit, put a support sleeve in the pipe and push it fully home. Fit the washer in the nut and screw it onto the tail by hand, then nip it with a spanner. Turn the slot or handle to open the valve, and check for drips once the water is on.
The straight version is also in our Hep2O fittings range.

Common Questions
How do I turn off a bent service valve?
A quarter turn of the screwdriver slot does it. Slot crossways is shut, slot lengthways is running.
Can it go on a hot tap?
Yes, on domestic hot water, as Hep2O rate it for intermittent hot and cold use up to 65°C. It is not for heating pipework.
What if the tap tail is 3/4″?
This one fits 1/2″ tails. A bath tap with a 3/4″ tail needs a different connector and a separate isolating valve.
