Going from plastic pipe into a threaded valve, cylinder or manifold is simple with a Hep2O Male Adaptor. One end is a Push Fit socket for the pipe, and the other is a male thread that screws into a female fitting.
Hep2O Male Adaptor sizes
The 10mm x 1/2″ size connects microbore pipe to a 1/2″ female fitting, for example on a manifold. 15mm x 1/2″ suits small valves and fittings. 22mm x 3/4″ fits pumps, larger valves and many boiler connections. 28mm x 1″ suits cylinder bosses and bigger supplies.
Screw the male thread into the female socket before you push the pipe in. Use PTFE tape or a jointing compound that is safe for plastics, and tighten it without forcing it. Finally sleeve the pipe end and push it in until it locks. Give it a pull to be sure before the water goes back on.

Common Questions
Does the male adaptor socket take copper?
Yes, like other Hep2O sockets it takes copper of the same size without an insert.
Can the male adaptor go into a plastic female thread?
Go gently, using PTFE tape and not too much force, as brass in a plastic thread can split the female part.
Is the 10mm x 1/2″ for microbore?
Yes. It takes 10mm microbore straight into a 1/2″ female fitting.
