The Hep2O Female Adaptor has a Hep2O Push Fit socket at one end and a female thread at the other. So a plastic pipe can connect onto any male threaded valve, tail, pump or appliance inlet.
Sizes of Hep2O Female Adaptor
10mm x 1/2″ connects microbore to a 1/2″ male thread, such as a manifold or valve. 15mm x 1/2″ is the everyday size on domestic water. 15mm x 3/4″ lets 15mm pipe meet a 3/4″ male thread, for example an appliance or float valve tail. 22mm x 3/4″ and 28mm x 1″ suit larger valves, pumps and cylinder connections.
Make the threaded joint first, with PTFE tape or a plastic-safe sealant on the male thread, and tighten without overdoing it. Then insert a support sleeve and press the pipe home.

Common Questions
Does the female adaptor take copper?
Yes. Copper pushes into its socket without an insert, so it can link copper to a male thread too.
Can I screw it on after the pipe is in?
Make the thread first. Spinning the adaptor with the pipe fitted can twist the pipe.
Is 15mm x 3/4″ for float valves?
It suits a 3/4″ male tail such as on some float valves and appliances.
