Hep2O Stop End 10mm to 28mm

Capping a pipe that is no longer needed, or one that is ready for later, is the job of the Hep2O Stop End. It is a closed Push Fit socket that pushes onto the pipe end and seals it.

When to use a Hep2O Stop End

Common uses include capping a radiator tail when a radiator comes off, closing a branch run in for a future bathroom, and sealing pipework during a pressure test. It can also go on the end of a spare copper pipe, because the socket takes copper as well as plastic.

On plastic pipe, fit a support sleeve before pushing the stop end on. Push it fully home and pull to check it has locked. If the pipe is going to be capped for good inside a wall or floor, think about cutting the pipe back to a tee and removing the dead leg, because water sitting still is not ideal.
