Hep2O Wall Plate Elbow 15mm to 22mm

The Hep2O Wall Plate Elbow gives plastic pipe a solid, screwed-down outlet for a tap or shower. A flat plate screws to the wall, the pipe pushes into the Push Fit socket, and the threaded outlet faces out for the tap or fitting.

Jobs for the Hep2O Wall Plate Elbow

Go for 15mm x 1/2″ on garden taps, shower outlets and appliance feeds. 22mm x 3/4″ suits bigger taps and higher flow outlets, for example a hose union valve in a garage or yard.

Screw the plate to something solid, such as masonry or a timber noggin, so it does not move when the tap is turned. With the pipe sleeved and pushed home, tape up the tap thread and turn it in until it stands upright. For a garden tap, add an indoor isolating valve so the outside leg can be drained for winter.

Common Questions

Can the wall plate elbow go outside?

Yes, but protect the pipe behind it from frost, and fit an isolating valve inside so the line can be drained in winter.

What screws hold the plate?

Use screws and plugs that suit the wall, or screw into a timber noggin so the outlet stays firm.

Does the threaded outlet need sealing?

Yes. Wrap the thread of the tap or fitting with PTFE, or use a jointing paste, before it goes in.
