Changing a tap or a fill valve is a lot easier with a Hep2O Shut-Off Valve close by. It is a 15mm in-line isolating valve for Hep2O pipe, so you can turn the water off to one outlet and leave the rest of the house running.
Fitting a Hep2O Shut-Off Valve
Put one on the feed to each tap, WC cistern or appliance, as close to it as you sensibly can. Sleeve each pipe end and push it in until the grab ring locks. Then clip the pipe either side, because turning the valve puts a twist on the joints.
Leave it where it can be reached, for example behind a removable panel or under a basin rather than boxed in. Open and close it now and then, so it does not seize when you need it in a hurry.

Common Questions
Does the shut-off valve show hot or cold?
Hep2O fit a hot and cold indicator insert, so the right colour can show on each pipe.
Why not use the shut-off valve on heating?
Hep2O rate it for intermittent hot and cold water up to 65°C, which is below heating flow temperatures.
How is the shut-off valve turned off?
A quarter turn with a screwdriver in the slot, so the slot sits across the pipe.
