Common Questions

What does a Speedfit hose connector do?

It gives a 15mm pipe a 1/2″ connection for a hose, for example a filling point or a garden hose. It saves a separate tap on some jobs.

Can it be fitted outside?

Protect plastic parts from sunlight and frost if they are outdoors. JG advise lagging or painting Speedfit used outside.

Does a hose point need a check valve?

Often yes. Hose connections are a backflow risk, so check the Water Regulations for your use.
