The Mini Lever Ball Valve Compression x Compression is a compact isolating valve with Compression joints on both ends. A short lever turns the ball a quarter turn to open or shut the flow.
Why fit a Mini Lever Ball Valve Compression x Compression
Its body is small, so it sits neatly in tight spots such as behind an appliance, inside a kitchen unit or in a boxed run. Microbore heating pipes and small feeds often use the 8mm and 10mm sizes. The 15mm and 22mm sizes cover most domestic pipework, for example an isolating point before a tap or a branch.

- Goes straight onto copper pipe
Slip the nut and olive over a clean, square pipe end, push it into the body and tighten. One and a bit turns past hand tight is usually enough on copper. Hold the body steady with another spanner so it cannot twist. If you use plastic pipe, put a pipe insert in first. The wider valve range is under Valves and Control Devices.

Why choose a mini lever valve?
The body is short and the lever small, so it fits behind appliances and inside units where a full size valve will not.
Is the 8mm size for gas or water?
We list it as a general mini isolator. For gas, only use a valve marked for gas and get a Gas Safe engineer to fit it.
Can a mini valve go on 8mm microbore heating?
Yes, the 8mm and 10mm sizes are there for microbore. Take care with the small olives, as too much force splits them.
