Description

The Polyplumb Spigot Elbow turns a corner with a Push Fit socket on one leg with a bare spigot opposite. That spigot plugs into a second Push Fit socket, so the elbow fits straight onto a tee, valve or manifold.

Why use a Polyplumb Spigot Elbow

Close to a manifold or cylinder, there is seldom space for a stub of pipe between fittings. The spigot elbow removes that stub, so the bend sits tight to the fitting it plugs into. The 15mm x 10mm size also reduces on the turn, which helps on microbore heating tails.

  • Sizes: 10mm, 15mm, 22mm and 15mm x 10mm
  • 90 degree elbow
  • One Push Fit socket, one spigot
  • Spigot not for Compression fittings

Make sure the socket you push the spigot into is clean, with its O ring in place. Push it fully in until it stops, then give it a pull to check it has locked. Pipe going into the socket end needs a stiffener if it is plastic. For more space saving parts, look at Polyplumb Fittings.

Common Questions

Why use a spigot elbow instead of a standard elbow?

The spigot leg plugs straight into another fitting, so there is no short stub of pipe and the bend sits tight to a tee, valve or manifold.

What is the 15mm x 10mm spigot elbow for?

It turns the corner and reduces at the same time, which is handy on microbore radiator tails coming off a 15mm fitting.

How do I know the spigot elbow has locked in?

Push it in until it stops, then give it a firm pull. If it stays put, the grab ring has hold of it.
