Hep2O Spigot Elbow 90 Deg 10mm to 22mm

For a tight right-angle turn straight off another fitting, the Hep2O Spigot Elbow 90 Deg cuts out the short piece of pipe. Its spigot goes into the neighbouring fitting, and its socket takes the pipe.

Where the Hep2O Spigot Elbow 90 Deg fits

Plug it into the outlet of a tee, manifold or valve to turn the pipe straight away, for example to drop a radiator tail through the floor right next to a tee. The 10mm size suits microbore heating, 15mm and 22mm cover hot, cold and heating pipe, and the 15mm x 10mm version turns and reduces in one.

Seat the spigot all the way into the next fitting and give it a pull. Then fit the pipe with its support sleeve until it locks. Because there is no pipe between the fittings, the assembly takes up very little room, which matters in a shallow floor void.

Common Questions

Does the spigot end need a SmartSleeve?

No. The spigot is already a solid pipe-sized end, so it pushes straight into the next socket. The sleeve goes into any length of Hep2O pipe you fit into the socket end.

Which spigot elbow suits microbore radiator drops?

The 10mm one, or the 15mm x 10mm if the spigot is going into a 15mm tee and the pipe leaving it is 10mm. Both keep the drop tight to the skirting.

Can copper pipe go into the socket end?

Yes, clean copper of the same size pushes into a Hep2O socket and no sleeve is needed. Take the burr off the cut and mark the insertion depth first.

Can this elbow be taken apart later?

On the Hep2O Key fittings, a HepKey slides in to free the grab ring so the joint comes apart. Drain the pipe down before you try it.
