Hep2O Bent Tap Connector 15mm

When the pipe comes out of a wall and has to turn up to the tap, the Hep2O Bent Tap Connector does it in one piece. One end is a 15mm Push Fit socket, and the other end is a nut that screws onto a 1/2″ tap tail.

Using the Hep2O Bent Tap Connector

This size suits most basin and kitchen sink taps, which have 1/2″ tails. Put a washer in the nut, screw it onto the tap tail by hand and finish with a quarter turn. For the pipe, fit a support sleeve, push it into the socket until it stops and pull back to check it is locked.

Push Fit makes a big difference when you are lying in a cupboard under a sink. There is no flame near the worktop and no fighting to get two spanners on a nut. If you want to isolate each tap for servicing, look at the bent service valve instead.

Common Questions

Does the bent tap connector come with a washer?

Yes. The bent version comes with its brass nut plus a spare rubber washer to suit the tail.

Can I bend the connector to suit?

No, the bend is moulded. If the angle is wrong, use a flexible connector or a separate elbow and straight connector.

Will it fit a monobloc mixer?

Not usually. Monobloc taps have thin flexible tails with small threads, so they need a monobloc connector instead.
