The Tectite Sprint Street Elbow 45 Degree has a push-fit socket and a plain copper spigot that goes straight into another fitting, for a tight 45 degree offset without a short length of pipe.

Sizes: 15mm.

Cut the pipe square, take off the burr, mark the insert depth and push the pipe in with a slight twist until it clicks home. Check the mark sits at the mouth of the fitting and give it a firm pull. No heat, no flux and no spanners on the push-fit end. Sprint joints are permanent: they cannot be taken apart and used again.

What does the spigot end go into?
Any push-fit socket of the same size, such as another Sprint elbow, tee or connector.

Can a Tectite Sprint fitting be taken apart?
No. Sprint fittings are not demountable. Once the pipe is pushed home the joint is permanent, so cut the pipe if you need to change it.

Do Tectite Sprint fittings need pipe inserts?
Not on copper. On PEX or PB plastic pipe, fit a pipe insert first so the pipe keeps its shape and seals properly.

Can Tectite Sprint go on gas?
No. Use it on water, heating and chilled water only.
