The Tectite Sprint Male Connector goes from push-fit pipe to a male BSP thread in one straight fitting. Use it into female ports on valves, cylinders and pumps.
Sizes: 15mm x 1/2 inch, 22mm x 3/4 inch and 28mm x 1 inch.
Cut the pipe square, take off the burr, mark the insert depth and push the pipe in with a slight twist until it clicks home. Check the mark sits at the mouth of the fitting and give it a firm pull. No heat, no flux and no spanners on the push-fit end. Sprint joints are permanent: they cannot be taken apart and used again.

Common Questions
What is a push-fit male coupler for? It pushes onto 15mm tube and gives you a 1/2″ male thread on the other end, so a run of pipe can finish in a thread. No flame is needed to make the joint.
How do I fit this brass push-fit coupler? Cut the 15mm pipe square, take off any burrs and push it fully into the fitting. It takes copper, PB and PEX pipe; on plastic pipe, check whether the maker calls for a pipe insert.
Is a push-fit coupler OK for central heating? Yes, the brass push-fit range is rated to 16 bar at 30°C and runs up to 95°C, so it suits domestic heating as well as hot and cold water.
Do push-fit connectors leak? A joint made on a square, deburred pipe pushed fully home shouldn’t leak. Most problems come from pipe that hasn’t gone in all the way or has a scratched end.
Are brass push-fit fittings reliable? Yes, the range is WRAS approved and rated to 16 bar at 30°C, so it’s made for proper domestic work. Fit it carefully and it’s a solid joint.
Does this coupler keep electrical continuity? Yes, the brass push-fit range keeps electrical continuity through the joint. It’s also rodent resistant.
