Chrome Compression fittings are especially advantageous in retrofit plumbing schemes, where space is confined and/or the use of heat must be avoided.

They are available in 6-108mm and are suitable for connecting tubes in accordance with EN 1057 and many other standards including ISO 274.

Common Questions

Which size for a bath tap?

Most bath taps have the larger 3/4″ tails and pair with the 22mm connector. The 1/2″ version belongs on basins and kitchen sinks.

What makes the seal at the tap?

A fibre washer in the nut, pressed against the end of the tap tail. Do the nut up firmly by hand and a little more; heaving on it only squashes the washer.

Will it fit a mixer with flexible tails?

No. Flexible tails need an isolating valve or a fitting that takes their own connection, so check the tap before buying.
