The End Feed Angled Wallplate Adaptor solders onto copper and gives a fixed female outlet at 90 degrees from the wall. Sold from 15mm x 1/2″ through to 54mm x 2″; Plumb Parts in Glasgow stocks it.

The End Feed Angled Wallplate Adaptor is a soldered elbow with a fixing plate, so it holds a threaded outlet firmly on the wall. Copper pipe solders into the socket, and the outlet has a female thread for a tap, valve or hose union to screw into.
End Feed Angled Wallplate Adaptor uses
Most outside taps, washing machine valves and shower feeds want the 15mm x 1/2″. 15mm x 3/4″, 22mm x 3/4″ and 22mm x 1″ suit larger taps and valves. From 28mm x 1″ upwards they serve commercial outlets and plant connections.
Solder the pipe in before you fix the plate if you can, so the heat does not scorch the wall. Then screw the plate down to solid fixing. Seal the tap thread with PTFE tape and screw it in square.

Common Questions
Should I solder the angled wallplate adaptor before fixing it?
Where you can, yes. Solder the pipe on the bench, then fix the plate, so the flame is nowhere near the wall.
What fixing does the plate need?
Something solid behind it. Plug and screw into brick or block, and add a timber batten on a partition wall before fixing.
Does the tap need sealing in the thread?
Yes, wrap the tap’s male thread with PTFE tape, and screw it in until it sits upright and firm.
