Our End Feed Reduced Elbow turns a copper run through 90 degrees and drops it down a pipe size in one joint, in 22x15mm and 28x22mm. You add your own flux and solder. Sold at Plumb Parts in Glasgow.

The End Feed Reduced Elbow is a copper solder fitting that makes a right angle turn and steps the pipe down a size, sold here in 22x15mm and 28x22mm. Plumbers and DIYers use it on heating and water runs short of space.
Where it goes
Think of the drop from a 22mm heating main into a 15mm radiator tail, or a 28mm boiler flow coming down to 22mm. One reduced bend replaces an elbow plus a reducer, saving a joint.

Fitting tips
Cut square, deburr, and clean tube and socket until bright. Flux lightly, push the tube fully home and heat the fitting, not the solder. Feed solder until a full ring shows, then wipe off spare flux. Use lead free solder on drinking water.

Common Questions
What is the difference between end feed and solder ring?
A solder ring fitting has solder built in. An end feed fitting is empty, so you feed wire solder in yourself.
Which way round does a reduced elbow go?
The bigger socket takes the bigger pipe. A 28x22mm bend has 28mm on one end and 22mm on the other.
