Fitting tips

Check that the valves will clear the floor, skirting or vanity top before fixing the brackets. On a short rail the valve bodies are close to the bottom bar, so leave room to get a spanner on them. Bleed it once filled and check the joints after the heating has run for a while.

How do I clean a chrome towel rail?

Wipe it down with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it so drips do not leave marks. Skip scourers and bathroom descalers on this 500mm x 800mm rail, because they dull and scratch the plating.
