Hep2O Barrier Pipe 15mm to 28mm

Hep2O Barrier Pipe is Wavin’s polybutylene push-fit pipe with an oxygen barrier in the wall. We sell Hep2O pipe 22mm in straight 3m and 6m lengths, alongside 15mm in 3m and 6m and 28mm in 3m. It suits plumbers and heating engineers running central heating, and Wavin also list it for domestic hot and cold water. Straight lengths stay straight, so they are the choice for exposed runs and short pieces where a coil would be a nuisance.

It pushes into Hep2O fittings, and every cut end needs a Hep2O SmartSleeve, the stainless steel insert that supports the pipe inside the joint. Cut the pipe square with plastic pipe cutters, push in the SmartSleeve, then push the pipe firmly into the fitting and pull back to check it has gripped. The barrier slows oxygen getting into the heating water, which helps keep the system clean. Keep it off gas, oil and underground supplies, as Wavin don’t list it for those.
