The Hep2O Flexible Connector links a Hep2O pipe to a tap or appliance with a bendable hose. 300mm or 500mm long, in 15mm x 1/2″, 15mm x 3/4″ and 22mm x 3/4″. Sold at Plumb Parts, Glasgow.

If the pipe and tap do not quite line up, the Hep2O Flexible Connector takes up the difference. It is a flexible hose with a Hep2O connection at one end and a threaded nut at the other for a tap tail or appliance.
Picking a Hep2O Flexible Connector
Choose the length first: 300mm for short drops under a basin or sink, and 500mm where the tap sits further from the pipe, for example on a bath. Then match the thread: 1/2″ for the usual basin or sink tap, 3/4″ on 15mm pipe for a larger tail, and 22mm x 3/4″ when a bath tap needs the bigger bore.
Avoid tight kinks, and do not twist the hose when tightening the nut. Hold the hose end still while you turn the nut. Leave it where it can be reached, because flexible hoses should be checked now and then.

Common Questions
Can a flexible connector be bent tight?
Keep to a gentle curve. A sharp kink can restrict flow and stress the braid, so pick a longer one rather than forcing it.
Does the nut end need PTFE?
No. The washer in the nut seals on the end of the tap tail. Tape on the thread does nothing for the seal.
Can I use it on a mixer shower?
Check the shower inlet thread and flow needs first. A 22mm x 3/4″ connector keeps the bore up where flow matters.
