The Hep2O Hepkey Plus is a release tool that holds a Hep2O fitting open so the pipe slides out. Made for 10mm, 15mm, 22mm and 28mm fittings, and kept at Plumb Parts in Glasgow.

Taking a Hep2O joint apart without damaging it is what the Hep2O Hepkey Plus is for. The tool clips over the fitting and holds the grab ring open, so the pipe can be pulled out cleanly and reused.
Using the Hep2O Hepkey Plus
Pick the key that matches the fitting size. Push it onto the pipe and into the mouth of the fitting until it holds the grab ring open, then draw the pipe out. Because it stays in place by itself, you have one hand free to support the pipe or the fitting. That is handy when working under floorboards or behind kitchen units.
Check the pipe end before you push it back in. If it is scored or squashed, cut it back and fit a new support sleeve. Keep a set of keys in the van, because you never know which size you will need on an alteration.

Hep2O colour them: blue for 15mm, purple for 22mm and orange for 28mm.
Can I reuse the pipe after demounting?
Yes, if the end is undamaged. Trim a short bit off if the grab ring has marked it, and fit a fresh insert.
Does a Hepkey Plus work on other Push Fit brands?
No. It is matched to Hep2O fittings. Other makes have their own release tools or collets.
